Europe’s Elite Combine Camp in Villepinte was a huge success. Prospects from five different countries were represented on this day. Campers competed in the 40 yard dash, 20 yard shuttle, broad jump and position drills. There were many great athletes on this day but two stood out the most to coaches. On the offensive side of the ball Scotty Sonetti and on Defense Kevin Fortis.
The skill players did not disappoint on the offensive side of the ball the Hurricanes de Montpellier RB Scotty Sonetti was explosive in every testing drill running a 4.45 40 yard dash, 3.9 shuttle and a 9’5″ broad jump. The shifty Sonetti showed excellent footwork and change of direction in the RB drills.he also excelled in his 1 on 1 drills showing he can create separation when in man coverage . ls.
On the defensive side of the ball Defensive Back Kevin Fortis was lock down. Kevin measured in at 6’1 200lb, he plays for Molosses Asniers and is a member of the French national team. Kevin was all over the WR’s in 1 on 1 drills. He showed great hip turn when changing directions and understood the basic zone coverage. His size and ability to run with a speedy WR makes him a great prospect for college coaches.
Europe’s Elite would like to thank all campers who attended the camp especially Diables Rouges de Villepinte and President Franck Lacuisse. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our next camp in Switzerland on August 20, 2017 in the city of Winterthur.
