The IFAF European U19 Championships are set for July 7th- 10th in 2022.

The International Federation of American Football ( IFAF ) and the American Football Bund Osterreich ( AFBO ) are pleased to announce that the European U19 (M-Tackle) will be held in Vienna,Austria at the famous “American Football Zentrum Ravelin” in Vienna’s 11th district.
As well as host nation, Austria , a four-time and current-European champion, the Championship will feature 2017 champions Sweden, two time champion France, and Denmark seeking their first crown.
IFAF Director of competition Roope Noronen welcomed the announcement by stating
” Austria will provide a world class stage for the Europeans Championship Games. We will see some incredible action on the field, demonstrating the continued strength of the games in Europe”.
The tournament will take the format of a semi final and final.
On July 7th Austria will face Denmark while Sweden will take on France. The winners will face each other on July 10th for the European title, whilst at stake for the other two teams is a game to avoid regulation to the second tier of nations when they’ll be replaced by Finland , Spain, Italy og Great Britain who will be contesting in group B of the championships.
Group C will feature multiple European Champions Germany, Czechia , and Switzerland each hoping to climb to the top tier.
Detailes on group B and C features will be announced shortly. All games from the European Championships in Austria will be streamed live by the host in Austria and IFAF affiliates globally.
