Karl Mongosse is a speedy deep threat WR that also has the ability to bring in those possession catches on big plays using his football iq to make the right play when needed. He would be a great addition to any team.
How long have you been playing football?
I have been playing football for 3 years and a half now.
What are your strengths as a player?
I think my speed and my agility are my main assets. I spend a lot of time on track and field and on agility drills especially ladder drills which are really important and helped me a lot as a receiver.
Have you taken the SAT?
I have taken the SAT on March 9th so I am waiting for the results right now. My target is 1300, I hope I did good enough.
Who do you watch the most and try to play like?
The player I watch the most and try to play like is Antonio Brown because he is everything I am trying to be. We have the same height and he is really really fast and explosive, which I am trying to be too. He also have tremendous route running, ball adjustment and hand eye coordination so I love to see him on the field. He is definitely a player I look up to.
How was your season last year?
I did pretty good during last season. I scored 7 TD in 9 games and ended up the season with only one drop. I had a little breakdown because I teared my hamstring right before the playoffs but I did everything to get back as fast as possible and I could finish the season. My team and I went all the way to the national championship final with an undefeated regular season. Even though we lost, we had a lot of fun and we learnt a lot from it. Big shout out to my teammates and coaches from last year I love you guys.
What are your expectations for this year?
This year, I am focused on my college ambition so I train hard for it and try to do as much camp as possible to get noticed. Hopefully, I’ll get my first college offer.
Why should a team recruit you?
First of all, because I am hungry. It is hard to get to the US when you are European so I have to work really really hard to get there and it built me a strong mental and a huge work ethic. I do everything to help the team and be valuable for my coaches. I am also doing good at school and have good grades so it is not something coaches will have to worry about.
