By Europe’s Elite | Lorenzo Deiana
Ranked as the 21st top international prospect in the class of 2022 in EE’s top 150 rankings, Lorenzo Deiana is looking to continue his football career in Europe this season. The standout defensive lineman from Stuttgart, Germany is coming off a stellar year where served as key contributor with the Swarco Raiders in Austria, and he contributed to the Italian national team’s European Championship. Now he seeks to continue making a name for himself as he plays for the Milano Rhinos at the beginning of 2022.
Verified at 6-foot-2 and 264-pounds, Lorenzo carries his weight well and can be mistaken for a well built linebacker by some coaches. He clearly has the size, frame , and athleticism to play college football at the D1-FCS or FBS level. After watching several of his games and witnessing several in person workouts, Lorenzo has the ability to be a versatile athlete for defense and play multiple positions. He is an explosive athlete that has the ability to play the run and pass. He also uses hands well in the trenches to defeat and shed blocks. Does a great job playing under taller and overly aggressive offensive linemen , which helps him explode into the offensive backfield.
