Martin has played football in Norway for six years, and is now playing his seventh season at a high school inthe state of Georgia,USA. His strengths include sealing off the edge on run plays and he is excellent in blitz pick up in the passing game. He plays hard-nosed football, with an aggressive play-style both during the run game and the pass game. Martin can be considered as a versatile offensivle linemen as he has played in at the Gaurd, Tackle, and Center position.
Have you taken the ACT/SAT yet?
I’ve not taken the SAT yet, but I’m looking to take it during our first trimester.
Who do you watch the most and try to play like?
I’m a big fan of Jason Kelce’s playstyle. He’s a very agile and hardnosed player both in the run game and pass game, and he’s inspired me to play a rather quick role at center, rather than a heavy, slow, only pass reliable, center.
What are your expectations for this year?
My expectations for this year personally are that I do my best every day to get better. My expectations for my team are high. We are a team of a lot of talented athletes, so as long as we play hard from start to finish, and play disciplined with as few penalties as possible, we can get as far as we want.
How has playing football affected your life?
Football has changed my life in a lot of ways. The biggest impact football has had on my life is probably all the friends I’ve gotten. I’ve made uncountable many friendships with people from all over the world. Football has thought me to love the moment I’m living in, and not be stuck in the past and that you don’t know what’ll happen in the future. You can get hurt the next play, so enjoy what you have right now, and give it all you got every single play.
I’ve already gotten the opportunity to already attend a boarding school in the US and I really enjoy my stay here. I’m going to school with people from all around the world and getting professional help to prepare for studying and going to college. After the school day is over, I go to practice for two hours. Our practices are high intensity, with a big focus on how to get better each and every day.
Why should a team recruit you?
I believe that a team should recruit me because I’ve got a great work effort and I’m a quick learner. I come out every day trying to be the best person I can be. I always try to get better, if its academically or athletically.
