By Daniel Docal of Europe’s Elite
Mads is a versatile OL with experience at multiple positions in the OL, specially OT and C. He’s a physical player that plays with a mean demeanor, he plays through the whistle and likes to finish blocks. As a Center, Mads does a good job looking for work and has a very good transition from
snap to blocking both in the passing and running game, but needs to improve his pad level. Mads shows good strength at the POA and seems to understand rushing lanes. As an OT, he excels with the reach block. Overall Mads has the size, strength and physicality but could improve his playing speed. Mads has only faced average competition and could struggle against top speed rushers.

Alessandro Cairati – DL, Switzerland
Alessandro is a high motor lineman that played both ways for Brook Hill HS (Texas), lining up at RT and IDL. A preferred DL at the next level, Alessandro shows very good play recognition and does a good job of reading the flow of a run. He has a good get off and plays with solid pad level. Alessandro shows good gap discipline and the ability to split double teams. He is active with his hands and has shown some bent ability on limited occasions. He could be a good fit as 3 technique or as a 3-4 DE. On o ff ense, he plays with very good intensity in the rushing game and shows very good strength. Alessandro is better in the running game than he is in the passing game, he should improve his kickstep and doesn’t look natural playing backwards. He does a good job playing through the whistle and fi nishing plays on both sides of the ball

Julio is a mobile, right-handed QB from Germany who has experience operating in the shotgun and under center. Julio is very accurate throwing on the run and does a good job making throws off -balance. He is a quick, natural runner that has the ability to create with his legs. Limited as a thrower, Julio is solid in the quick game but hasn’t shown the ability to sit back and go through his progressions. He needs to improve his pocket presence significantly and both his upper and lower body mechanics could use some work. His base is too wide during throws which doesn’t allow him to properly step into the throws and his arm extension is poor, producing a low release that often ends in a side-arm throw. Julio shows potential as a dual-threat QB and has a lot of room to grow.

Lorenzo is a young DL with experience at the mens level in Europe. A strong tackler that plays with good intensity. Lorenzo is slightly undersized but shows good athletic potential, playing with good speed in the open fi eld. He has a solid anchor and a good set of pass rush moves but needs to improve his pad level and be more explosive off the ball. He has experience as an IDL and an Edge Rusher but could be better fit to line up on the outside, where he can use his speed and pass rushing ability.

Max is a fast, sideline to sideline LB that plays with very good strength and aggressiveness. Max is underweight for an inside LB but has the frame to bulk up some more. He has very good reaction ability and instincts for the position. Max does a good job reading the OL and fighting blocks, he doesn’t fi nd himself getting washed out of plays. Max is a strong tackler but needs to be more consistent wrapping up ball carriers and fi nishing plays. In the passing game he does a good job dropping to zones, locating receivers and eliminating crossers but could do a better job re-routing receivers.Overall Max is a very complete player that needs to do a better job finishing plays to untap his potential.
