Anton Beemelmanns
As a route runner, he shifts his head and torso to deceive his man. He tends to loop his angles rather than cut. When the ball is in the air, he understands to go get it rather than letting the ball come to him. In open space with the ball in his hand, he seeks out gaps in the defense. An active and also forceful blocker in the run game.
Jaron Lipola
Processes and diagnoses the run game. Finishes his tackles whether he is squared up or if needs to drag the ball carrier down. Stands high when the ball is snapped and gets in trouble by it when he is being blocked.
Joseph Junior Penesumby
Although listed as a cornerback, skills are more suited for safety. Undersized for free safety but he shows the necessary will to pursue. He hits and drives through the ball carrier while running at full speed. When matched up in press, he overcommits and loses a step on his man. His impact can be felt greater if the play was all in front of him.
Trenton Jackson
A two-way MVP for his high school playing both running back and linebacker. On offense, he was used frequently as a receiver out of the backfield. He displayed soft hands catching over the middle. Took advantage of the open space screen plays created. He takes sharp angles when the defender is closing in. Breaks through arm tackles and maintains his balance when contact is made towards the torso. As a linebacker, he tracks the eyes of the quarterback in zone coverage and shows the ball skills he exhibited on offense. Anticipates the snap while being light on his feet and penetrates his gap in the run game.
Luca Landgraf
Makes his impact as a run blocker. He doesn’t settle for holding up his defender rather he churns his legs and drives them downfield. He was given a variety of responsibilities on special teams. A serviceable member of the coverage and return teams as well as their punter.
