This season the Rabun Gap Eagles have 5 players who are already committed to Power five universities, several of which are international athletes.
Four-star defensive lineman Darren Agu, from London, and three-star defensive lineman Linus Zunk from Germany are both committed to play for Vanderbilt University in 2022. Another three-star athlete on the Eagles roster is tight end Marlin Klein, from Germany who is committed to the University of Michigan. Outside of these three athletes three are several players who are ranked in our list of top 150 international athletes . Athletes such as Ole Krebs, Maximilian Lantzsch , and Cedric Anton, are all from Germany. Followed by Emil Bennich of Denmark and Walle Harrwigson of Sweden.

Tonight the Eagles will be competing in the NCISAA Division-I football state championship. This is big deal given the amount of international athletes on the Eagles roster!
