    U18 WITH EXCLAMATION MARK

“For the U18, a much stronger opponent awaits on Saturday with the Salzburg Ducks. The training week was also anything but optimal due to some cases of illness. So you can be curious whether the guys can bring the performance on the field,” said Head Coach Florian Grein in the run-up to the game. His team was unimpressed by the challenging training week and celebrated a clear 64:6 away win at the Ducks. Led by Tim Tonko, who left his mark on the game with three touchdowns and an interception, the RAIDERS were able to show their dominance right from the start and go into the game early with a lead. Two touchdowns each by Lorenz Kriwak and Lukas Michalek as well as another score by Benedikt Radauer increased the points on the scoreboard, the defense regularly brought the Ducks to despair.

“The team was able to call on its skills very well. Raphael Url distributed the ball perfectly as quarterback and the defense around Kilian Plattner, Matthias Thanner and Justin Demel was able to play strong again,” Grein was satisfied. Next weekend, the U18 has no games before it continues on October 29 at home against the Ducks.
