Valerio Cuomo was the Italian Junior final MVP in 2016 with the Bergamo Lions and now he is taking his talents to one of the top Jr. Colleges in California, Butte College. Butte College is known for producing players such as former NFL MVP Arron Rogers and Hall of Fame lineman Larry Allen.
Valerio knows it will be a big jump from the Italian League but he is ready for the challenge. Prior to the move to California Cuomo had been training with his coach Andrea Oliverio working on his speed and in the weight room with his Bergamo Lions club.
“My goal is to become a starter on the team, do well in school, and hopefully in the future earn a scholarship to a division one school. That is my dram to play in front of a huge crowd, but for now I am focused on becoming the best player for Butte College.” – said Cuomo.
Europe’s Elite wishes Valerio much success as he starts classes at Butte this week.
