The Schwäbish Hall Unicorns in Germany are one of the most respected football programs in all of Europe .Year in and year out, the Unicorns develop great athletes who can produce on the football field. Leon Frieble is one of many talented athletes to come through “The U” of Germany. Leon is an an explosive young receiver who shocked the German Football League in 2021 with his consistent play making abilty and versatility on the field .Now this talented wide receiver is preparing to play for division 3 program Dickinson College in the fall of 2022.
What is your favorite football moment of your life?
I think one of the best and most emotional moments of my career so far was the winning the CEFL Bowl in
Innsbruck against the Swarco Raiders.
What goals do you have for yourself as a player this year?
I don’t have have any specific goals when it comes to stats or anything like that. I just wanna become the best version I can possibly be and don’t compare myself to others.
What career would you follow outside of being a professional athlete?
I will study International Business & Management. But I’m also really interested in engineering.
How do you handle the challenges in life and in football?
I believe it’s all about having a plan and being consistent with what you do. You need to have a clear vision and never stop believing in yourself even in t
he toughest moments. What helps me the most is getting my mindset right and stick to my routines doesn’t matter what’s happening around me. Control what you can control.
If you could meet and train with any football player in the world for 1 week who would it be and why?
This is a tough question honestly because there are a lot of players I would like to talk to one day not just Football players. But if I have to chose one to work out with for one week I would like to train with Davante Adams. I think he’s one of the best receivers of this generation and I could learn a lot from him.
What do you love about football?
Football is so much more than just a game. It’s a second family and you can transfer so many lessons from the game into real life.
How are your preparing for your next season?
I’m working on any aspects of my game physically and mentally to get ready for College.
What made you choose Dickinson College?
I had a really good connection with the coaches and I think it’s a great program. I can’t wait to get to work.
How do you think playing at Schwäbish Hall has prepared you for college football?
First of all I wanna thank every single person from this team for supporting me throughout my entire journey. I
