The college football season has been far from normal this year. This means that the “typical” recruiting cycle that fans and athletes normally follow has also be disrupted. But this one date around college football has remained the same, Dec 16-19, the NCAA Early Signing Day Period. This period of time offers athletes an opportunity to sign their NLI papers (National Letter of Intent), in order to secure their commitment to the school that they chose.

For some athletes an NLI is simply a piece of paper that requires a signature. This happens whenever an athlete makes a commitment early in their recruiting process and have showed 0 sign of wavering from that decision. Others are still using this exciting time to make a final decision between several universities.
